de Mayo Reno -
DM Productions was retained by
Nevada Hispanic Services to coordinate this Event as a major fundraiser.
Government grants, corporate gifts and other funding sources are diminishing
.... so, NHS is taking a step to raise its funds through special events and
corporate sponsorships.
DM Productions LLC contributed to
a number of areas which included securing 52 corporate sponsors, booking
entertainment over two days on three stages, and located 100+ booths with a
variety of vendors across a 15 city block area in downtown Reno. The Event was attended by 110,000+ people over two days of food, fun, festivities, and free entertainment.
Highlights from 2002 included May 2 concert with Grammy Award Winner
Nestor Torres and special guest John Shipley, Silver Legacy concerts by
Julio Iglesias, The Dancing Horses, Oscar Cartaya and the Enclave, Latin
Soul Project, Julio Bravo and his Orchestra Salsabor, Caravanserai, Mark
Levine and Latin Tinge, and vocalist Elaine Lucia.
Highlights from 2003 included a
concert with the Foundation Orchestra, concerts with Tejano Music Hall of
Fame artists Johnny Hernandez and Lalo Guerrero, Latin Soul Project, The
Dancing Horses, Lamonyk, Mariachis Mexicanisimo, The Cinco K Run, Father &
Daughter Dance and a Battle of the Bands.
Highlights from 2004 included
stellar flamenco guitarist Michael Olsen, the legendary Latin Rock band
Malo, the ballet folklorico of Mexico's Quetzalli Ballet, Casanova Recording
Artist Victor Soleil, the hot Reno band, Mezkal and other bands.
Highlights from 2005 included
the #1 Timba band in America ... from Miami, FL we presented Tiempo Libre
who introduced their new CD with Shanachie Records. Also we presented
Hall of Fame recording artists Tejano Gold who have a 45 year recording
career, Orchesta d'Sol - a hot salsa band from San Francisco, and Reno's on
Sol Jibe and the Michael Gallegos band.
We had over $400,000 of media sponsorship on FOX, UPN,
Univision and Radio Tricolor, Charter Communications Cable Networks and news coverage on
all three networks. Print media sponsors included Reno Gazette-Journal,
Union Newspaper, Ahora Newspaper, La Voz Newspaper, Panorama and Reno Tahoe
Latin Revies Magazine. Special merchandise was also prepared by DM
Productions including a collectible poster by artist Dolores
Archuleta-Hutchinson, CDs of the bands of Cinco de Mayo, and hot tee shirts.
Benefits from Cinco de Mayo Reno go to Nevada Hispanic Services. In
2003, DM Productions LLC contributed more than $30,000 to the NHS bottom
line by running this event in a cash-flow positive manner. Events
should always make money.

his friends are coming to Northern Nevada. DM Productions LLC and their team of
professionals are in the planning stages for the films, the stars, the
locations, the parties, and the events for The Bonanza Western Film Festival
2004. Learn special facts about western films from our western film stars.
Several of Bill's friends
including Peter Brown (Lawman, Laredo, Bold and the Beautiful, The Young and
the Restless), Donna Martell (Ten Wanted Men, Hills of Utah), Dan Haggerty (Grizzly Adams), Don
Stroud (Joe Kidd, Coogan's Bluff, Mike Hammer, Hawaii 5-O), and Ty Hardin (Bronco, PT
109) appeared at the inaugural Bonanza Western Film Festival.

When the
Active 20/30 Club of Carson Valley looked to restructure their event with
some great headliner talent, staging and sound, they turned to DM
Productions LLC. We secured The Chantays, an Hawaiian dance troupe,
some great local blues bands, and all the production through local and
regional vendors to make this a great year - on time and on budget.
